How To Stop Touching Your Face

I take your flimsy face masks and I raise you.
I touch my face a lot. I mean a lot. Which ain’t good right now.
So my solution is to wear this. It’s double good because the glass mask that goes on the front is magnified so you don’t need your reading glasses. Extra ace.
For those of you not lucky enough to have access to vintage diving masks here’s a tip to on how stop touching your face - put a strong smell on your hands. This should grab your attention and remind you to PUT THE HANDS DOWN.
Smell is the superhighway to the brain so grabs our attention quickly (Side tip: we are washing our hands a lot AREN'T WE so you could put the smell on your shirt cuffs. I don't know how to help if you are wearing a t-shirt.)
Smells you might try this with are peppermint, clove or ginger oil. You could try garlic and get the added benefit that no one will sit next to you. Or try very strongly fragranced soap - I am a huge fan Wright's Coal Tar soap.
It’s a similar idea to the horrible stuff you put on kids’ nails to stop them biting them. Essentially you interrupt the habitual behaviour to stop it. So who is game for trying this? What smells are will you try out? Tell me in the comments below. And share with others if it helps you.
